The mirror matches the candlesticks, the candlesticks match the color of the wood, and so if the curtain matches the wood it should match everything else. This may be the case, but it’s something that you’re going to have to pay attention to. Not only must you be certain that the rod matches the room’s color scheme, but you also may want to think about the shape of the holdbacks. Some are very simple and others are like statues on the end of the rod. You want the feeling of the holdbacks to match the feeling of the room, when you use window rods. An extremely ornamental rod will draw too much attention to itself in a simply decorated room.
